Amitabh-Prakash joins hands for ‘Satyagraha’

If you think that Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Jha are joining the long list of Bollywood stars supporting Anna Hazare’s non-violent anti-corruption movement then you are wrong. On the contrary the two Bollywood stars are inspired by ‘Anna Hazare’ and are set to take the real life revolution on-screen. The two who recently worked in the film ‘Aarakshan’ had decided to work together soon and it seems their wish has come true as the duo will next work together in the film titled ‘Satyagraha’.

The film like Prakash Jha’s many films will be based on the socio-political scenario of India and this time his film’s plot will concentrate on corruption. The issue that is the reason behind the current furor in the nation will probably have Amitabh in an ‘Anna Hazare’ kind of avatar where he as a protagonist fights against the prevailing corruption in ‘Indian Political System’.

Prakash has confirmed that the film is currently in its scripting stage and will go on floors in January 2012.
