Freida finally turns desi!

Freida finally turns desi!

Freida Pinto, probably India’s most successful export to Hollywood will finally be seen playing an Indian girl in director Michael Winterbottom’s film. Freida plays a daughter of an autorickshaw driver in the film that is based on Thomas Hardy’s novel ‘Tess of d’Urbervilles’. The film is titled ‘Trishna’ and Freida is quite excited about it.

Freida who is fashion’s favourite girl will have to shun all her luxurious possessions for the film. The lady was last seen in ‘Rise Of The Planet Of Apes’ and was quite appreciated for her performance in the film. Though, Freida played an Indian in her first film ‘Slumdog Millionnaire’ too that shot her to fame, her role in ‘Trishna’ is meatier and more plump.

We wish the lady all the best with all her ventures and wish that soon she would star in an Indian film.
