Samantha is inarguably one of the top heroines in South cinema at the moment. She didn’t sign many films after tasting back to back hits with YMC and Brindavanam. She focused mainly on Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu as she had immense confidence in the film to put her on the top.
The only film she did besides Dookudu is Rajamouli’s Eega. Although she thought of waiting till she is done with Dookudu, who will say no to Rajamouli? Eega will release in the first half of 2012 and meanwhile she agreed to play the female lead in Autonagar Surya and NTR-Srinu Vaitla’s Mafia.
She also has a trilingual under Gautam Menon’s direction. Samantha is too busy until 2012 end and it would be extremely tough for anyone to get her dates before that
